I recently earned my MFA in Visual Communication Design from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), but my passion for visual storytelling actually began during my undergrad. Back then, I was constantly shooting photos on my iPhone, experimenting with editing apps, and whipping up graphics just for the fun of it—designing posters and social assets for campus festivals whenever I could.
That spark stuck with me even after I landed a job as a software and front‑end developer. I loved the logic of code, but I kept finding myself more and more drawn to how things looked and felt. So I went back to school at RIT and never looked back.
At RIT, I explored everything from motion graphics and UX/UI to 3D design, but always found myself most drawn to typography.
I carry that typography‑first mindset into every project, shaping brand personalities with clean type, clear hierarchies, and modular design systems for both print and digital.
I’m on the lookout for opportunities where I can bring my typography‑first approach and systems mindset to life.
